Our take

Sentinel is an early-stage decentralized VPN framework built on peer-run nodes, and the honest read is that it is infrastructure for builders more than a finished consumer product. Routing through volunteer nodes spreads trust, but it also means your traffic exits through strangers’ connections with no central party accountable for them. Treat it as an experiment to watch, not the tool to protect anything that actually matters today.
