Tachyon is another token-incentivized decentralized VPN, and the node count it cites is modest enough that you should not expect commercial-grade coverage or speed. As with its peers, paying operators in tokens makes the network’s privacy promise only as strong as the incentives keeping nodes honest. There is no compelling reason for a typical user to choose this over an established VPN; it is for people specifically curious about the decentralized-and-tokenized model.
