Our take
A genuine non-Android, non-iOS phone OS is a rare thing, and that idealism is the whole appeal here. The catch is daily-driver reality: the app ecosystem is thin, hardware support is narrow, and you will be working around gaps constantly. Pick it if running a true Linux phone is itself the goal and you treat the device as a project. Anyone who needs their phone to just work should look elsewhere.
